One essay down, 2500 words in the bag. I’m so relieved! Tomorrow I’m going to sort my CV out and start applying for work experience for Easter and the summer holidays.

“But I am baffled by men. When they want me, I don’t want them; when I want them, they don’t want me. We are just shooting dirty pool. Or maybe it’s more like I’m still sitting at the baccarat table at a smoky, dingy casino in Reno, it’s well past 3 a.m., I’m in hock to the house, I’m drinking bottom-shelf martinis and eating stale canapés from the complimentary smorgasbord, my mascara is...

I hate January, I hate essays, I hate exams, and, probably most of all, I hate that it’s dark all the time! GIVE ME SUNSHINE. I’d really love it to be June now.

2011.
2011. What date from 2011 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? November 26th. Turning 21 with my best friends around me and so many hilarious things happening.  What was your biggest achievement of the year? Passing the first year of uni I guess.  What was your biggest failure? I’m not sure really. Letting myself get into certain sticky situations really.  Did you suffer illness...

What a relief.
I only get the bare minimum student loan, but thanks to making sure I saved enough money from September’s loan for January’s rent too, I only need to use the January loan for February and March’s rent. Then, when the next loan comes in April, I’ll use the remainder to may for April-June’s rent, and I’ll have a spare three hundred or so left. I’ll still be...

Pretty sure someone keeps “slyly” directing things at me on the internet. Not impressed! Although saying that, I just directed that at them. Also, today my Dad told my family there would probably be a Jeremy Kyle show special on my ex boyfriends. He’s not funny.

Scotland!
It was an exhausting couple of days but, when you only really get to see your family twice a year, it’s always worth it. I had a little cry when we left today but it’s only because my grandparents are getting old and it can be tough not seeing them very often. I saw my little cousin too which was lovely - she’s so cute!

My skin is driving me up the wall. It stopped being as bad for a while and recently it’s come back with a vengeance. I’m gutted. Also, I’ve worked out I’m going to write 500 words of essay every day as that means I can finish all three that I need to write in two weeks. Oh God.

What is your idea of perfect happiness? In an ideal world I’d be at a festival, but staying in luxury accommodation, with my boyfriend and my friends, plenty of free alcohol but no hangovers, Frank Turner headlining, great weather, and no uni work to worry about. Really though in the future I’d be happy in a great relationship, with a job I love and friends who I can have fun times...

Christmas holidays.
I’ve got mixed feelings about this. It’s so strange coming back to Kidlington and realising that nothing’s changed. Even walking from my house to my friend’s via the high street I recognised absolutely everyone I walked past. Nobody ever leaves this village! Also, it’s strange being “at home” because I don’t really feel like this is my home anymore....

Oxford according to Uncyclopedia:
nicoleandoxford: Sheer gold.  Here are some memorable gems. “The university was founded shortly after the dawn of time as a joint venture between God and Oscar Wilde.” “24AD: Christ Church founded by Christ.” “1555: Protestants are burned in Oxford. Christ returns and builds 593 churches and chapels to teach Oxonians a lesson. They are all still standing today.” “Harry Potter attended Christ...

TV series have never been as good as the film. It’s true. I still love it though.

Every Time I Die @ The Wedgewood Rooms,...
justaninsightzine: It has been a very long time since such an incredible line up has graced the south coast city of Portsmouth, but tonight was probably one of the best line ups of the year. The Rocksound Riot tour featuring Spycatcher, Defeater, Trash Talk and Every Time I Die piled into the Wedgewood Rooms for what was sure to be one hell of a party on a Saturday night. Spycatcher were the...

Recently all I've been doing
is reblogging stuff. Over and over again. Sorry but I’ve been busy trying to cram as much as possible in to the last couple of weeks of uni before the Christmas holidays. I’m going to miss my friends and Sam but I really can’t wait to get home and see my friends there and my family. Just getting away from the norm for a while is always nice, although I have so many essays to...
